Property planning // Know the ground
Before the tree work, understand the property.
Regrid brings parcel information and mapping into one property research tool. Polgar Tree Surgeons shares this resource to help owners prepare for a conversation about trees, access, and work near property lines.
What does the Regrid property app show?
Regrid provides parcel maps and land information, including approximate property boundaries, acreage, ownership records, and geographic locations. Its mapping tools let users explore properties with satellite imagery and parcel boundary overlays.
Property owners can use the app to locate a parcel, research ownership, and understand the approximate size and shape of a property. Available information and tools depend on the property data and the access level you choose.

A parcel map can help you explain where a tree stands, which part of the property needs attention, and whether access or nearby boundaries need a closer look. Approximate acreage and dimensions can also provide context when discussing a larger wooded property.
Before pruning or removing a tree near a boundary, identify the tree and discuss ownership and permission. Share your questions with the arborist at Polgar Tree Surgeons so the proposed work can be assessed before a crew begins.
An essential distinction
A parcel map is not a land survey.
Regrid property lines are approximate. Satellite images and boundary overlays may not align exactly, and a map alone cannot settle legal ownership or establish where a boundary lies on the ground.
For a disputed line, a boundary tree, or work that depends on an exact property limit, obtain a professional land survey and the necessary permissions. Polgar's tree care assessment does not replace a survey or legal determination.
Bring a useful project brief.
Note which tree concerns you, what you want done, and any access restrictions. If a property line is nearby, say so at the start. Keep survey documents and any relevant permissions available rather than relying on a screenshot alone.
